The Freedrain penstocks are used in surface water, sewerage systems, (sewerage) water treatment systems etc. to (temporarily) block or allow to pass water
They are manufactured from high quality HDPE and they will be reinforced with Stainless Steel 316L profiles. HDPE is lightweight and has a high chemical resistance. Standard, the penstocks are fitted with a SS316L non-rising spindle
Type ASG-S mounted on a pipe with a coupler (coupler not included). Available in DN110 – DN630. Other sizes on request.
The penstock contains a vertically moving door which can block the water supply on both sides. Tightening shall be effected by means of a special EPDM flat/lip shaped rubber profile to withstand 5 meter water column pressure on both sides, without any visible deformation.
